The Altar Guild's mission is to make the sanctuary and altar reflect spirituality and beauty, bringing inspiration to our church family as we worship. Members work in teams to perform monthly altar duties, and work together to prepare the sanctuary for Christmas, Easter, and other special seasons.

The Communion Stewards prepare for communion prior to the first Sunday of each month.

Discover First hosts meetings where particiants get a chance to talk with our pastors, find out more about our church, our history, our mission, vision, & goals, and get connected to our ministries.

First Impressions team members volunteer during one or more Sunday services per month and act as ambassadors of our church to help folks feel welcome and safe in our building.  Training is provided so volunteers can assist the church during emergencies or other situations that might occur on Sunday mornings.

Glorifying God through music during our worship services. The St. Pete First Chancel Choir, Fellowship Handbell Ringers, Kids Praise Team, and Contemporary Worship Team are always looking for new members.

Looking for a fun volunteer opportunity? There is a need for office volunteers to answer phones and greet people who come into the Administration Building, as well as other light office duties as needed. The regular hours are 9 to 1 or 1 to 5, one day per week. We are also in need of substitute office volunteers.

Inspiring exploration of the Gospel message and the art and history contained in our stained glass windows. Docent tours of our beautiful stained glass windows are offered by special request.

During our regularly scheduled worship services and special events, ushers and greeters assist with greeting, guiding people, sharing information, collecting the offering, distributing the communion elements and offering service of any kind to insure the needs and concerns of our members and guests are met.

Our Mission is to transition kids from an elementary knowledge of Christ and his teachings to learning what it means to be a Christian in today’s world and give them a solid grounding on the Methodist faith. We provide a safe secure environment for our Youth to have fun and learn through serving others.
